Prymir Community Guidelines

Updated: 10/3/2025

Prymir is a social media platform dedicated to putting control back into the hands of users. Inspired by the retro internet era, we believe in full profile customization, an algorithm-free feed, and a creative, fun-first environment for all.

To maintain a safe and welcoming space, all users must follow the community guidelines outlined below. Violations may result in content removal, account restrictions, or bans.

1. The 1 in 10 Promotional Rule

Promotional content is welcome—but not at the expense of community. If you wish to promote something, you must first create 10 non-promotional posts that engage meaningfully with the community.
Spam, filler, or low-effort posts intended only to fulfill this ratio do not count.

Note: Verified Pages are exempt from this rule.

2. No X-Rated or Adult Content

Prymir is a platform for all users. Nudity, pornographic material, explicit content, or links to such content are not allowed.
This includes shock content, gore, or anything of a sexually suggestive or violent nature.
While we acknowledge that sex work is real work, Prymir is not the place to promote or distribute such material.

3. Keep Arguments Contained

Disagreements happen. However, they must remain within the original thread or post where they started. Do not spread disputes across the platform or create new posts to continue them.

4. No Harassment

Do not bully, harass, stalk, threaten, or otherwise target other users—publicly or privately. Violators will be removed without warning.

5. No Hate Speech

Prymir does not tolerate hate speech of any kind, including attacks based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexuality, or disability.

6. Streaming Links Belong on Pages

Twitch or other streaming-related links must be posted on a streamer’s dedicated Page, not on their personal profile.

7. No Controversial Content

Content related to politics, religion, or other divisive topics is not allowed. Prymir is a neutral space focused on creativity and community.

8. No Spam or Low-Effort Content

Engagement bait, mass emojis, empty posts, or repeated low-effort messages will be removed. Quality interaction is more important than quantity.

9. No Impersonation or Deception

Do not impersonate individuals, brands, or other users. Parody accounts are allowed only if clearly labeled (e.g., “@FakeMark” or “@Satire_News”).

10. Do Not Circumvent Moderation

Creating alternate accounts to evade bans, mutes, or other penalties will lead to a platform-wide permanent ban.

11. No Doxxing or Personal Info Sharing

Do not post private or sensitive information about yourself or others—including addresses, phone numbers, or real names (unless verified).

12. Report, Don’t Retaliate

If you witness harassment, threats, or other violations, report it. Do not retaliate or escalate the situation in public threads.

13. Use Tags & Categories Properly

If your post belongs in a specific category or uses a tag, make sure it's accurate. Misusing tags to gain views may result in removal.

14. No Begging, Scamming, or Chain Posts

Posts like “Send me money,” “Retweet to avoid bad luck,” or other chain-type messages are not allowed. If you want to sell digital goods, use the Marketplace feature.

15. Moderator Discretion

Moderators and admins reserve the right to remove content or take action against users even if behavior isn’t explicitly covered here, if it's deemed harmful to the platform or community.

16. English Only (For Now)

Prymir currently operates as an English-only platform to ensure moderation quality. We plan to expand support for more languages as the platform grows.

17. Don’t Abuse the Report Function

False or spammy reporting may result in action against you. Use the report function responsibly.

Thank you for helping us keep Prymir fun, safe, and community-focused.
